Job Description:

A leading conversion-oriented SaaS company developing it's own products is hiring a talented data scientist to join its team. The data scientist will create solutions for various business challenges the company is facing. The scientist will use highly quantitative advanced degree and experience to analyze and elevate the company's activities.


Responsibilities:

Analyze data and monitor trends in high complexity environment.

Take charge of researching, prototyping and evaluating algorithms which take key decisions in the company's product platform.

Implement approaches and algorithms for a wide range of use cases.

Take charge of the product's statistical engine driving online A/B tests.

Manage multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Take part in decision-making regarding different aspects of the company''s product - from data collection to UI.

Collaborate with the development team.

Use Big-Data technologies such as Apache Spark and HBase.

Research and apply novel machine learning algorithms for business challenges.


Requirements:

  • Experience with machine learning and feature engineering - online learning, supervised and unsupervised learning.
  • Proven experience in coding - mostly Python.
  • Master's degree in Computer Sciences / Mathematics / Statistics or similar field.
  • Data exploration skills, such as SQL, Excel, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinker with attention to detail.
  • Able to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
  • Able to see the big picture, evaluate impact and prioritize among many requests.
  • Passion for hacking and analyzing data.
