Job Description:

A fast growing mobile advertising analysis company is hiring a talented, super analytical data scientist to join the product team.
The data scientist will create solutions for various business challenges the company is facing and and help make data-driven product decisions. The scientist will use highly quantitative advanced degree and experience to analyze and elevate the company's activities.


Responsibilities:

Analyze large-scale data-sets in order to generate insights and find and identify future product opportunities.

Improve product data modeling.

Create and assess various predictive models that the company can infer from.

Work closely with the company's developers to utilize models.

Develop efficient, automated data analysis processes, validate and implement models.

Research and apply novel machine learning algorithms for business challenges.


Requirements:

  • PhD or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Math or Statistics with focus on machine learning.
  • Hands-on experience in predictive modeling and analysis of large volumes of data.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed programming platforms.
  • Experience in working with SQL stacks.
  • Proficiency with R / Weka / KMINE - an advantage.
  • Experience working with Spark - an advantage.
  • Passion for hacking and analyzing data. Experience with mobile analytics - an advantage.
  • Team player with leadership skills.
