Job Description:

A global market leading social content and entertainment hub is hiring a talented data scientist that will professionally hunt needles in haystacks of data - digging into over four billion events every month generated by over a hundred million unique users a week. The data scientist will understand key business KPIs and factors influencing company performance, analyze new product initiatives and their respective success, and translate various data-sets and analysis insights into meaningful recommendations that instantly impact the business positively.

Responsibilities:

Perform large scale data analysis and develop effective models for segmentation, classification, optimization, time series and other parameters.

Design reporting dashboards that track key business metrics and provide actionable insights.

Suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating results to cross-functional groups.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to create rules and manage decisions.

Prioritize leads to that teams can work on the most important tasks first.

Suggest improvements to the various tools and systems used by the company.
